Return Policy

1. Introduction
1.1 These terms and conditions shall govern your use of our website, with specific reference to return of goods purchased from Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com).
1.2 By using our website, you accept these return terms and conditions in full; accordingly, if you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website.
1.3 You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website; and by using our website or agreeing to these terms and conditions, you warrant and represent to us that you are at least 18 years of age.
1.4 Our website uses cookies; by using our website or agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy.
1.5 Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) retains the right to change/ amend/ update this policy without notice or written communication. All changes will reflect on our website.
2. Return
2.1 In case you are unhappy with the quality of the goods shipped, or the goods don't fit you properly, you can return the good to us (meeting the terms and conditions given in 2.1 and 2.2). You must intimate us regarding the good/s you would like to return within 7 days of receiving delivery of your order(s). If all return criteria are met, we will replace the product (of the same value as item/s returned after deducting shipping / courier charges). The right to accept or refuse returned order/s lies at the sole discretion of Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) and its representatives. Exchanges for cash / cheque / currency / bank transfer / any other monetary form will NOT be entertained under ANY circumstance. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
2.2 All products returned (as intimated to us) should be unused and couriered back to us in original condition with all the packaging, tags, clips, hangers, and promotional material intact (as applicable to the product returned). within a period of 14 days from the date you receive delivery of your order(s). In case you should wish to return your order(s), kindly intimate us by calling +91-22-2646-9109 or writing to us at gemsstar37@gmail.com . Thereafter, we will send you an e-mail explaining the return procedure and the address where the returned order(s) should be shipped. All courier charges applicable on shipment of good/s to be returned must be borne by the customer. No reimbursement will be made in any other circumstance. Please note: Good/s returned are approved / disapproved for exchange only after thorough quality checks of the item/s have been undertaken. The right to accept or refuse returned order/s lies at the sole discretion of Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) and its representatives. In case the return criteria are not met, the product will be re-shipped to the customer’s delivery address at the sole expense of the customer. Any and all exchanges depend on availability of stocks at the time of return.
2.3 If you wish to return delivered good/s, please intimate our representatives via e-mail within 7 days of receiving your shipment / order. All return intimations must be e-mailed to gemsstar37@gmail.com . Once an electronic communication is received, we process the exchange swiftly. However, please note that exchanges are subject to stock availability.
2.4 The courier company associated with your order will make a maximum of two attempts to pick up the good/s being returned from your registered delivery address (as specified on the invoice), over a period of 4 working days from the date of initiation of such request.
2.5 The courier service provider associated with your order shall not be responsible for verifying the contents of the products handed over by the customer to its delivery personnel. Packaging of such products shall also be the sole responsibility of the customer. Packaging should be good enough to ensure no damage occurs while in transit. The service provider shall seal the package provided by the customer at the time of pick-up (in front of the customer). The sole responsibility of the contents of the packed consignment shall lie with the customer. The courier service provider and/or Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) shall be, in no way, responsible for any shortage or damage of such consignments.
2.6 The customer shall not book/handover or allow to be handed over any good/s which is deemed as banned, restricted, illegal, prohibited, stolen, infringing of any third party rights, hazardous or dangerous or contains any cash, currency, bullion, letters and financial and security instruments and courier service provider shall not be liable for the delivery of any such products. In the event that a customer hands over or provides the aforesaid products to the courier service provider, then the courier service provider shall not be responsible and/or liable for any loss, damage, theft or misappropriation of such products (even if the courier service provider or delivery personnel has knowledge of the same, and even if such loss, damage, theft or misappropriation is caused due to any reason attributable to the courier service provider and/or delivery personnel.
2.7 Only regular priced items may be returned or exchanged. However, the right to accept or refuse returned order/s lies at the sole discretion of Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) and its representatives. Unfortunately, order/s or item/s purchased within Sale / Offer periods CANNOT be returned or exchanged under any circumstance.
3. Exchange

3.3 In order to initiate this procedure, we must receive the products at our registered operating address (which will be provided to you in an e-mail once we are intimated that you would like to return your order.) Our return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we CANNOT offer you an exchange in ANY form. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a product exchange is approved by Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com), the cost of return shipping or shipping of freshly ordered good/s will be solely borne by the buyer/customer. The right to accept or refuse returned order/s lies at the sole discretion of Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) and its representatives.
3.4 Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) shall at our sole discretion retain the right to refuse and/or cancel order/s placed for that/those good/s.
3.5 If Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) decides to cancel the order due to reasons listed in 3.6, you will be intimated within 30 working days from the date of cancellation intimation via e-mail or telephone.
3.6 If a good is out of stock or if the courier company is unable to fulfil delivery to the address provided or if other situations arise; i.e. In the event that an item is mis-priced, Gemsstar Jewelers (www.gemsstar.com) may at its sole discretion either contact the buyer/customer for instructions and/or cancel the order/s and notify the customer of such cancellation.
3.7 There are certain situations where only partial or NO exchange will be granted (if applicable) for order(s) shipped within India:
3.7.1 product/s show obvious signs of use;
3.7.2 product/s have been opened;
3.7.3 any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error;
3.7.4 any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Any and all conditions / situations regarding overseas order(s) returns (outside India), will be instructed to the client via e-mail once we receive an intimation that you would like to return your order(s). 3.8 All other conditions as mentioned in 3.3 will apply to returned order(s); with respect to return duration, etc.
